Respite & Rehabilitation Care

Respite Care

Looking after someone you love can be rewarding, but it can also be extremely physically and emotionally draining.

Respite care is designed to give you, as a carer, a break away from your day-to-day care duties, so you can recharge and revive.

This can be anything from a couple of hours a week, just to enjoy some “me time” or to attend a medical appointment yourself, an afternoon to visit friends and family or even a few days to have a break.

Respite Care

Rehabilitation Care

It is a type of short-term homecare that is necessary after a hospital stay, or an illness to enable you to become independent again.

Rehabilitation care can usually run from two to eight weeks, and it consists of support in the home with tasks to increase independence, such as mobility support.

Our care staff will work with other medical professionals from GP’s, district nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
