Premier Nursing offers a wide and varied range of care and support according to your needs, priorities and preferences. You may want personal care, such as help getting out of bed, washing, and dressing. We can help with these tasks making sure that you stay safe and well. Our carers and nurses will help you maintain your privacy and dignity and remain as independent as possible in your own home. You may want care for a loved one to allow you to have some respite for a few hours a day.
If you have more complex needs our registered nurses can provide a wide range of general and specialist nursing care.
You could simply want companionship, someone to take you out on trips or to see friends. You may want some practical support such as light housekeeping or your meals prepared, assistance with medication, help with shopping, laundry, taking to appointments and driving. Premier Nursing staff can assist with all these tasks.
Contact Premier Nursing by phone, e-mail or dropping into the office and we can talk about what your needs are and the ways we can help you.
Yes, once you have decided to use our services, we will organise a day and time that suits you when our specialist Registered Nurse can come and visit you in your home in order to make a full assessment of your requirements. A Care Plan is discussed and agreed with you and your family, specifically addressing your wants and needs. We also do a risk assessment of your home to ensure that you and the carers are always safe when at your house. We will ask to look at bathrooms, and any mobility equipment to assess if it is adequate to meet your needs. The Care Plan is left with you for the carers to use and make notes in after each visit.
If your needs change then Premier Nursing will organise to undertake a re-assessment to review your care plan with you and your family. We will always ensure that you are provided with a service that suits your needs and desired outcomes.
If there are no changes then your care package will automatically be reviewed on an annual basis.
An holistic approach is where we consider all of your needs when making an assessment. These could be personal, social, psychological, physical, emotional, or spiritual. We will work with you to help you overcome any problems you may have, and to enable you to maintain your independence and to remain in your own home.
